You will need:
1 cup mochiko
1/4 cup sugar
2/3 cup water
corn starch or potato starch
desired filling (anko, raspberries, other fruit pieces, peanut butter, chocolate chips, etc.)
WASH YOUR HANDS. Combine the mochiko, sugar and water in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for two minutes. Remove and stir as best you can. Put back in the microwave and cook for two more minutes or until the dough inflates. Remove it from the microwave and let it cool enough to handle. Liberally cover your working surface (such as a large plate or counter) with the starch and dump the mochi onto the surface. Cover your hands in starch and tear a small ball of mochi from the lump. Flatten into a disc, add your filling in the middle, and pinch close. Roll into a ball. Repeat until you use all the mochi.

1 cup flour
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
3 tbs water
3 eggs
oil for frying (if you're not using a non-stick pan)
anko (or peanut butter, nutella, etc)

Cook until the top of the circle bubbles. Flip and cook until golden. Let cool. Sandwich anko between two dorayaki and eat. If you don't want to use anko, peanut butter or nutella can be used instead.

You will need:
3 cups water
2 sticks agar-agar
soft fruit like peaches
WASH YOUR HANDS. Boil the 3 cups of water. Tear apart the agar-agar sticks and dissolve the pieces in the boiling water. Once dissolved, pour the mixture into a loaf pan. Put in the fridge to cool, but nifty fact, kanten jelly will solidify at room temperature. While the jelly is cooling, cut your peaches into chunks. When the kanten jelly is solid, cut into squares and serve with the peaches. Yum :]
